From my previous three posts on photojournalism and concert photography, one might think I had a bias toward photography that captures unrepeatable moments. In fact, some of my favorite photographers primarily capture nature shots, like Ansel Adams:
Who can resist a good shot of the Tetons?
or Minnesota local Jim Brandenburg:
Frozen grass in the midwest plains
And some of my favorite shots are of posed people, as in David Hilliard’s triptychs:
or the celebrity images from Annie Leibovitz:
As long as it’s striking, I’ll take it.
